About Us

We are a trading team that specializes in popular trend-following approaches paired with risk management practices from traditional financial markets. We come from backgrounds in mathematics, finance and have been incredibly excited about applying these skills to the crypto capital markets. We’ve been able to leverage our diverse skill sets and extensive industry knowledge to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and manage risks in the rapidly evolving crypto market.

Meet the Team

Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Jenkins

Prior to Silver Sun Capital Investments, Kevin worked on buy and sell-side M&A where he completed 6 transactions totaling over $1B in enterprise value. In addition to private capital markets, he manages a liquid token and equity family office portfolio. Earlier in his career, he worked at DTCC in strategy and operations roles where he learned about capital market structure and how blockchain could upgrade our antiquated financial system. Mr. Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and economics with a masters in Finance from the University of Tampa.

Joe Valentine

Before Joe entered the financial field, he spent four years in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman. During his time in the military he learned the basics of retail trading. After the Marines, Joe is currently a swing trader specializing in FOREX and crypto markets with over ten years of experience. For the past three years, he has been a successful prop firm trader, using his experience in the markets. When he is not trading he is finishing his degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from University of South Florida.
